Back-to-school is so much more than a wardrobe. There are new crushes, new friends, new classes, and old enemies. It's ah-lot to handle! Each PCer has her own way of distressing: Massie kicks back with Bean, Dylan burps away the tension, Alicia dances it off at Body Alive Dance Studio, Claire nibbles on gummy feet, and Kristen immediately gets all her homework done so she can hang with the Clique full-time on the weekend. Which leads to our question of the week: how do you deal?

Let’s be hawnest. None of us have Massie’s AmEx Black, so we can’t buy an entire new fall wardrobe. But that doesn’t mean you have to approach your back-to-school shopping with a “back-to-all-my-old-outfits” attitude. It’s all about finding little touches—the perfect belt, a feather accent, a killer headband—to transform your outfit from ah-bviously last season to a Massie-ah-proved ten. So spill: what’s your favorite fall accessory and why?

This summer when the Pretty Committee was away, all the girls came out to play . . . with different friends! Massie teamed up with Anastasia Breeze. Dylan glommed onto tennis phenom Svetlana Slootskyia. Alicia became muy besties with her Spanish cousins. Kristen hung out with the Witty Committee, and Claire was reunited with her FBFFs—Florida best friends forever.
